Our email support service  is for women and girls affected by any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives , as well as their friends  and families supporting them.

We don’t offer a direct email service to men who have experienced sexual violence but we are able to signpost you to more specialist services who can support you.

Is the Email Anonymous?

Yes. We have special software which removes your email address before we receive it. We do not know your name or your email address.


Generally we will not know anything identifying you from emails you send us. If you choose to give us information that identifies you and later we are made aware by you of a risk to a child or vulnerable adult (including yourself) then we have a clear responsibility to take appropriate safeguarding action.

If you choose to move onto face to face support, we can only provide this if we collect and store your information.

How Does the Service work?

The email address support@glosrasac.org.uk is a dedicated address that we only use for this purpose. The first time you email us, you will receive a ‘welcome’ email. Emails are currently answered within 24 hours.

Will I get a Response from the Same Person Each Time?

No you won’t. Emails are answered by a team of trained support workers so you could get a response from any of them.

Can You See What I’ve Written Before?

If your email to us is not your first one, we will be able to see the whole ‘thread’ of the conversation so even if you get a different support worker responding, you will not have to go back to the beginning each time.
