Salary: £32,000 (pro rata)
Hours: 0.8 (4 days a week –includes occasional evening groupwork)
Contract: 12month contract (subject to probationary period)
Join Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC) to make a real difference to survivors/victims of sexual violence and abuse, to lead our Volunteer and Participation Strategy and to ensure we continue to deliver high quality specialist services and work towards ending sexual violence.
You will be passionate about ending violence against women and girls from all communities, and all those who it effects, with experience working within a sexual violence or trauma focused service. You will be a developing leader, driven by your feminist values to ensure the voices of survivors are central to everything we do. You will be skilled and experienced in training, delivering groupwork, developing services and volunteer/people management.
You will be responsible for developing, coordinating and promoting GRASAC’s volunteering and participation programme, recruiting and motivating volunteers to get involved in a range of exciting opportunities across our services. You will provide training and supervision to volunteers in a variety of roles across the organisation and be an ambassador for our Participation Programme across the county.

We are based just outside of Gloucester in a peaceful rural setting in relaxed offices, offering dedicated space for working with clients and running groups and training and ample parking.
GRASAC is a registered charity that supports anyone who has experienced or who is experiencing rape and/or sexual violence. We provide emotional and practical support to survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse, including advocacy and support groups. We are proud to support people of all genders and recognise in particular the impact sexual violence has on women and girls.
